Shri. C.B.Satpathy ji
(Guru Ji)

Shri Guruji-Shri Chandra Bhanu Satpathyji needs no introduction in the world of Shri Shirdi Sai. He was born in the latter half of 1948 at Cuttuck in Orissa, in a family of educationalists and administrators, having high level of cultural and religious activism. His father Shri Gokul Chandra Satpathyji and mother Smt. Harsha Mayee Satpathyji nurtured in Guruji, a perfect blend of all round - education and culture. After completing his education, Guruji taught at the Delhi University for a few years and later joined the Indian Police Services (1972 batch) in the Uttar Pradesh Cadre.
As a child Guruji-Shri Chandra Bhanu Satpathyji was very fond of exciting subjects such as Black Magic, Rope Trick and Supernatural Forces. He also read many books about Saints and miracle men. It was in November 1989, that He picked up a video cassette 'Shirdi ke Sai Baba' from a video library on the recommendation of the Library owner, who said that this film showed the miracles of Shirdi Sai Baba. The word 'miracle' stimulated interest in him, as he had always been fond of supernatural subjects.
It was while watching the movie that another 'miracle' took place thereby transforming Guruji's life, as the lighthouse of Shirdi Sai World. As Guruji writes in His book "Shirdi Sai Baba and Other Perfect Masters", the job of the Perfect Master is to bring perfection to anything and everything coming in contact with him, the animate and inanimate are bound to evolve whether it happens immediately or within a certain period of time. The masters only work with a divine purpose. Their self is the Divine self of God, radiating only compassion and creativity of the highest order. All deities and natural forces known as Devas or Devis assist them in the performance of their duties. Their wishes are the laws of nature and God's command. This is exactly the story of Guruji who has been chosen by Shri Shirdi Sai to carry out His mission.
Guruji is a spiritual doctor to many sick human beings, suffering from various diseases, pain and other problems. His word of solace and comfort provides a healing touch and kindles new hopes. A glance of love and a word of cheer suffices to gladden many sad hearts. When the distressed come to him for his help and assistance Guruji invokes the blessing of Shri Shirdi Sai saying "May Sai Bless You". Selfless love and boundless compassion incarnate, Guruji is a friend, philosopher, father, mother, brother, spiritual guide and a cosmic light house to many a wayfarer on life's pathway. He is 'Sai's love personified' to millions of Sai devotees.
Since 1989, Guruji-Shri Chandra Bhanu Satpathyji has surrendered Himself totally to Sadguru Shri Shirdi Sai Nathji and is spearheading the Shirdi Sai Movement all over the world. He has become a touch stone for connecting people with Shri Shirdi Sai. An inspiration behind over 200 temples of Shirdi Sai Baba all over India and abroad, Guruji is instrumental in getting schools, colleges, Hospitals & Veterinary care clinics opened and run in Shri Sai Baba's name which follow the principles and teachings of Shirdi Sai Baba. Besides Guruji has written books, composed and sung Bhajans on Shirdi Sai. He is the force behind many magazines and periodicals on Shirdi Sai in various languages.
After having retired from the Government Service in Jan 2008, Guruji has set forth to carry out his work on Shirdi Sai. This involves Global Research on Sai Baba of Shirdi. Guruji's message to all Sai devotees is to have a thorough study of Sai Satcharitra and to read a portion of it every day for understanding Sai.
Satpathyji takes special interest in inculcating social and cultural values in children and the younger generation.

Guruji Dr. Chandra Bhanu Satpathy offers Opening Prayer for the US House of Representatives

"Aum. Oh Lord by your will, we are born in different nations, speak different languages and follow different religions and cultures. Yet, we are all your children and ever grateful for your love and protection.
Evoke in us pious thoughts and feelings to sheen all hatred and violence and become worthy of your service. Bless our future generations to imbibe the spirit of love, sacrifice and cooperation.
Guide us in following saints like Shirdi Sai Baba, who proclaimed in Hindi 'Sabka Malik Ek.' Meaning 'God is the master of all.' Inspire us, as your trustees, to nourish and protect the world around us to sustain all life.
Guide us along the ethical and holistic path of self–control, purity of purpose and dedication enshrined in the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. Oh Lord, bless this August assembly and this nation in performing its national and global responsibilities towards furthering the cause of humanity, Aum."
